SleepBetter Bedding Packaging for Carpenter Co.

Carpenter Co. is a Richmond, Virginia based company that produces a wide selection of bed pillows and mattress pads that are sold by leading retailers across America, Canada and Mexico.

I collaborated one-on-one with the internal packaging department at Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy's, and JCPenny to design and implement all of the packaging decisions and specs from the type of box flute used, to the type of inks incorporated into the layout to really make elements "pop" off the shelf.

The packaging for all of these products was created to showcase the innovative products designed to alleviate sleep problems. Each product presented a challenge in showcasing the technology through both description and visual elements so that the consumer could easily understand. In a store environment, products sit on a shelf and in order to make our product stand out to the consumer we needed to create engaging packaging that was both informative and visually appealing.
